The Maintenance Technician is responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair in support of production equipment and the facility. In this role, the technician will work with a variety of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems and controls. Logical-thinking and troubleshooting skills are critical. This position is critical to the safe and efficient operation of the facility.

General working hours are Monday through Thursday, 2 : 00pm - 10 : 00pm, with additional overtime available on Fridays, as business needs evolve.

What You'll Do - Maintenance

• Safety : Always ensure the complete physical safety of oneself and one’s co-workers without exception
• Assist the production team with efficient day starts and equipment performance through the day.
• Inspect machinery : Knowledge of machine equipment for proper performance and to detect faults and malfunctions. Diagnose malfunctions using testing equipment to determine the required repair.
• Perform machine repair and maintenance, possibly including corrections and alterations, to ensure it remains in a proper productive state.
• Assist with or perform the troubleshooting, repairs, and maintenance of electrical, mechanical, hydraulics, pneumatics, and plumbing systems.
• Perform general facility maintenance tasks as required.
• Determine material, equipment, and supplies needed for daily maintenance functions and ensure work orders are completed accurately, timely, and cost effectively.
• Ensure plant preventative maintenance programs are supported and maintained.
• Assist in maintaining chemical and repair parts inventory.
