SFCC Architect

Job description

We are hiring a Salesforce Commerce Cloud Architect for one of our retail clients -

This is a fully remote, permanent role (working EST timezone). Candidate must be eligible for FTE employment without sponsorship.

The role will be paid at an annual salary of $190,000-220,000 plus benefits

This is a hands-on SFCC Architect role with Senior Developer skills

Coding & Technical Expertise

1. Actively write, review and maintain code in multiple languages

a. Expertise in: JavaScript (Client Side / NodeJS), Java and Python

b. Expertise in: SFCC Server Side Scripting

c. Great to have: RPG

2. Development Operations: Continuous Integration and Delivery:

a. Preferred: Application Containerization (Docker), CI/CD Pipeline Development, Linux Server

Administration

b. Great to have: Application Orchestration (Kubernetes), Bitbucket Pipelines

3. Version Control Systems:

a. Preferred: Git

b. Great to have: Bitbucket

4. Test Automation:

a. Great to have: Jest (JavaScript), JUnit (Java), pytest (Python), Selenium or other integration /

functional testing libraries

5. Ticketing / Documentation Systems:

a. Preferred: Jira, Confluence

What You’ll Be Doing

1. Maintaining Existing Applications:

a. Code Updates

b. Upgrading 3rd party libraries

c. Upgrading container images

d. Monitoring / Applying Security Patches

e. Trouble shooting / resolving complex production issues

2. Release Management for Applications:

a. Maintaining repository branches

b. Coordinating Release / Roll Back strategies with different teams

c. Ensuring code is properly integrated, tested and deployed

3. Coding new projects on a highly customized site

4. Providing Technical Application Assistance for other teams

5. Helping form and follow Coding Standards / Best Practices

6. Work with Architects for System Architecture and Scalability

7. Writing / Maintaining test automation scripts

8. Writing / Maintaining technical / user documentation
