Vault Cashier (Full Time)
Department: Cage
POSITION: VAULT CASHIER
WAGE: $16.50/HR.
POSITION SUMMARY: Responsible for furnishing Cage cashiers and all other departments
with money in exchange for chips, coin, or currency and maintaining and balancing the
Main Vault. Will act as Cage Supervisor as needed.
DUTIES:
·Assists various departments in replenishing currency, chips, and coins.
·Replenish all Cage cashier drawers.
·Reconcile the Main Bank.
·Verify all money drops and prepare deposit.
·Efficiently operate a variety of Cage equipment.
·Responsible for the accuracy and thoroughness of departmental records and paperwork.
·Maintain adequate supplies necessary to effectively perform the duties of the job.
·Work any Cage window, as needed.
·Assists Supervisor, as needed and Act in Supervisor role in the absence of a Cage Supervisor.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Opportunities for Internships, Apprenticeships, and Coordinated Work Study programs may be considered in lieu of formal education and work experience requirements for this position for enrolled members of the Yavapai-Apache Nation.
1.Education: High School diploma or equivalent, preferred.
2.Work Experience:
a.Large-sum money handling experience.
3.Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
a.Accurately operate a 10-key calculator by sight.
b.Effectively communicate (verbal and written).
c.Successfully pass a Vault Cashier math test.
d.Be at least 18 years of age.
e.Participate and pass pre-employment drug screening and background investigation to obtain and maintain a valid Gaming License.
