Senior Systems Engineer – Defence & CEMA – SC Cleared

SR2 is supporting a leading UK Defence programme, helping to develop next- Cyber and Electromagnetic (CEMA) systems that enhance security.

We’re seeking experienced Systems Engineers with proven backgrounds in RF, communications, or C4ISR systems, capable of designing, integrating and delivering secure, multi-domain solutions.

Responsibilities :

Translate operational and MOD requirements into system-level architectures and solutions.

Deliver technical input into design reviews, assurance gates, and system integration planning.

Work collaboratively with hardware, software, and data engineering teams.

Contribute to system safety, conformance, and security-by-design principles.

Support verification, validation, and acceptance testing of end-to-end systems.Experience Required :

Proven Systems Engineering experience within Defence, MOD, or secure environments.

Strong understanding of CEMA, EW, or ISR systems integration.

Knowledge of C4ISR architectures, NATO standards, or DEF STAN frameworks.

Experience across multiple domains (Land, Sea, Air, Space, or Cyber).
