PeaceHealth is seeking a Dietitian I - Endocrinology for a Part Time, 0.70 FTE, Variable position. This is a billable clinician position.

This position is primarily on-site; hybrid option may be available.

The salary range for this job opening at PeaceHealth is $32.32 – $48.48. The hiring rate is dependent upon several factors, including but not limited to education, training, work experience, terms of any applicable collective bargaining agreement, seniority, etc.

This position is an integral part of outpatient nutrition team located within PeaceHealth Primary Care and Specialty practice in Bellingham, WA focusing on MNT for both pediatric and adult population for diagnosis such as Renal Disease, Weight Management, Digestive disorders (IBS, SIBO, IBD), Pre-Diabetes / Diabetes, infant feeding concerns, adolescent nutrition, etc.

This position is responsible for coordinating all aspects of nutrition care, consulting with other healthcare professionals as needed.

Details of the position :

• Competent use of the Nutrition Care Process including nutrition assessment, identification of nutritional diagnosis, implementation of appropriate nutrition intervention, and formulation of patient specific goals, monitoring, evaluation, and follow up of outcomes.
• Using evidence-based nutrition practice guidelines, will provide nutrition education to patients and families in the outpatient and / or inpatient settings.
• Provides consult services to other healthcare providers and participates in the interdisciplinary team.
• Documents in the EMR in accordance with policies, procedures and regulations.
• When appropriate, makes referrals to other services, agencies and community resources.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
