PeaceHealth is seeking a Dietitian I - Nutrition Services for a Per-Diem, 0.00 FTE, Day position. The salary range for this job opening at PeaceHealth is $32.32 – $48.48. The hiring rate is dependent upon several factors, including but not limited to education, training, work experience, terms of any applicable collective bargaining agreement, seniority, etc.

Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Per Diem Inpatient Dietitian to join our healthcare team in Bellingham, Washington. In this role, you will be responsible for providing expert nutrition care to patients within the hospital setting, working closely with multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes. This position is ideal for individuals looking for flexible, part-time hours in a dynamic healthcare environment.

Essential Functions

• Competent use of the Nutrition Care Process including nutrition assessment, identification of nutritional diagnosis, implementation of appropriate nutrition intervention, and formulation of patient specific goals, monitoring, evaluation, and follow up of outcomes.
• Using evidence-based nutrition practice guidelines, will provide nutrition education to patients and families in the outpatient and / or inpatient settings.
• Provides consult services to other healthcare providers and participates in the interdisciplinary team.
• Documents in the EMR in accordance with policies, procedures and regulations.
• When appropriate, makes referrals to other services, agencies and community resources.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
