Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nurse Specialty: Cath Lab Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day 4x10-Hour Hours per Shift: 10 hours Experience: Minimum of 2 years RN experience required; must be competent in all aspects of Cath Lab Diagnostic and Intervention including Structural. License: Active state license required; pending license accepted for submission. Certifications: ACLS, BLS required. Must-Have: - Minimum 2 years RN experience - Competent in Cath Lab procedures - Active state license Description: This position is for a Cath Lab Registered Nurse working four 10-hour shifts from 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM. On-call duties are required, including 2-3 weekday nights and weekend call every 4-5 weeks. The RN will be responsible for daily caseloads of 8-10 cases per technician. Candidates must have a minimum of 2 years RN experience in the Cath Lab. First-time travelers will not be accepted; experience is necessary. Call requirements include rotation of first and second call every 12 hours during scheduled periods. Candidates may float within their scope to meet facility needs, but will primarily stay in the Cath Lab. Previous charge experience is preferred, and community hospital experience is a plus. The charting system used is Cerner. The RN will perform as a circulator in the lab, administering moderate sedation, assessments, medications, and care pre and post-operation. Medical exemptions are allowed for the flu vaccine, but the COVID-19 vaccine is not required. All required documentation and references must be submitted by the designated deadline for consideration.
