Administrative Services Analyst I/II
The County of Riverside's Department of Housing and Workforce Solutions (HWS) seeks an Administrative Services Analyst I/II to work in their Administrative Services Unit located in Riverside, CA. This position requires full-time onsite attendance at the assigned main office location.
The Administrative Services Analyst II will be part of the HWS Admin Team, which includes a total of three Analysts and reports directly to the Deputy Director of HWS Fiscal and Administrative Services. The HWS Admin Team is responsible for all HR, Payroll, and Administrative Services for the entire HWS Department of 300+ staff working in several outlying locations across Riverside County. Duties are assigned to the 3 analysts as follows: Sr Analyst manages all HR tasks, one Analyst manages all Payroll tasks, and one Analyst manages all other Administrative Services.
This opening is to fill the Analyst responsible for management of centralized Administrative Services, which includes Public Records Requests, I.T. equipment inventory and service requests, Safety, Records Management, Facilities, Fleet Vehicles, Travel Coordination, Supply Ordering Websites, Cellphones/Desk Phones, and Procurement Card Monthly Billing.
Additional duties of this position consist of, but are not limited to: planning and conducting special studies of major departmental programs and administrative practices; preparing high-level managerial reports of program performance and statistical data for presentation to departmental executive team; advising on continuous quality improvement including automation of manual processes; evaluating policies and procedures of existing department administrative processes based on analyzed datasets and trends; and, making recommendations to solve multifaceted problems related to administration and operations.

- Substantial professional level administrative business operations experience for a large-scale organization;
- Ability to communicate complex project details with all levels of management, to include internal and external stakeholders;
- Experience preparing, organizing, and analyzing fiscal documents and processes; and
- Ability to analyze, interpret, explain, and apply relevant laws, regulations, ordinances, and policies.
