JOB TITLE: Field Service Technician II

Qualifying Questions:

Summary:
Replaces and troubleshoots faulty electronic components and damaged parts.
Adjusts misaligned panels, trim pieces, harnesses, and electrical components.
Uses hand and power tools for mechanical and electrical repairs.
Reads and interprets CMMs, engineering drawings, and technical documents.
Performs hands-on electrical troubleshooting including voltage and continuity testing.
Works in confined aircraft cabin spaces including under-seat, sidewall, and overhead stowage areas.
Uses smart phones or tablets daily for emails, pictures, and other applications.
Requirements:
Must be a U.S. Person (as defined by ITAR).
High School Diploma or equivalent required.
At least 2 years of Field Service experience related to troubleshooting and repairs.
Natural mechanical ability with hand and power tools.
Basic working knowledge of CMMs, engineering drawings, and technical documents.
Basic computer knowledge and familiarity with MS Office applications.
Proficient using smart phones or tablets for emails, pictures, and applications.
Valid driver's license and ability to obtain a passport.
Hands-on electrical troubleshooting knowledge including testing voltage and continuity.
Availability to work various hours, after hours, and weekends as needed; travel approximately 2-4 weeks per year.
