Job Title: Temporary Sanitation Worker
Pay: $20.00/hour
Hours: Sunday - Friday 10:00PM - 6:30AM
Start Date: ASAP
Looking for a short-term opportunity to make some money and contribute towards the sanitation of the university's buildings and facilities? Join a dedicated campus facilities team as a Temporary Sanitation Worker in Eugene, Oregon, and help keep the environment clean and safe for everyone.
As a Temporary Sanitation Worker, you'll be essential in maintaining cleanliness across the campus, working alongside the Facilities Management team to ensure all areas are hygienic and welcoming. Your contributions will help promote a healthy, comfortable space for students, staff, and visitors alike.
What You'll Do
As a Temporary Sanitation Worker, you will be responsible for
• Performing industrial sanitation of carpeted and hard floor surfaces
• Operating machines such as floor scrubbers and carpet steamers
• Conducting basic cleaning tasks around the facility, including dusting, mopping, and sweeping
• Maintaining cleanliness of common areas and restrooms, ensuring they are sanitized and stocked
• Emptying trash bins and removing rubbish from the premises
What You'll Bring
The ideal candidate for this role will have
• Prior experience in sanitation, cleaning, or custodial work (preferred)
• Ability to stand for 8 or more hours daily
• Comfort with bending, stooping, twisting, crouching, and lifting throughout the shift
• A strong work ethic and attention to detail
• Willingness to work overnight shifts with a flexible attitude

Location & Schedule
This position is on-site in Eugene, Oregon, working the graveyard shift from 10:00 PM to 6:30 AM, Monday through Friday.
