Assembly Technician

Overview

HP Tuners LLC is a global leader in the automotive aftermarket, developing hardware and software for vehicle calibration.

The position assembles and disassembles components using basic hand tools, fulfills orders, kits and maintains inventory, and creates and upkeeps documentation for the department and customers.

HP Tuners maintains a 1 shift operation, Monday through Friday onsite in Buffalo Grove, IL and all assembly operations will occur in an HVAC controlled environment.

This position reports to the Production Manager.

Responsibilities

• Use demand planning techniques, determine work priorities, and production schedules.
• Assemble and disassemble small electronic components using basic hand tools.
• Perform visual quality control inspections.
• Use automated computer programs to transfer data.
• Kit and package products.
• Document completed work in an accurate and efficient manner.
• Perform inventory upkeep functions, including planning and managing inventory levels.
• Understand and follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and Lean Manufacturing Principles (5S).
• Maintain hand tools and equipment as per work instructions.

The estimated base range for this position is $18.00-19.00 per hour , with actual pay determined including factors such as location, skills, experience, and other relevant considerations. This position also qualifies for a discretionary bonus and a complete benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, life, and disability coverage, paid time off (PTO), and a 401(k) program with employer matching.
