Responsibilities Work in a 36-bed adult Med / Surg surgical unit Patient population includes primarily orthopedic and trauma patients, with plastics and general surgery cases Care involves post-surgical patients requiring mobilization and rehabilitation Telemetry and complex wound care provided Day / night rotation schedule No local candidates accepted; 75-mile radius rule applies Main responsibilities include post-surgical care, patient mobilization, and rehabilitation Holiday coverage required, with no time off approved for December 24th or 25th Multiple positions available Must maintain active licensure for the duration of the assignment Requirements Active NH or compact RN license required Basic Life Support (BLS) certification mandatory Recent Level 1 or comparable Level 2 Trauma experience within the last 2 years required Experience with chest tubes, drips including Diltiazem, heparin, Lasix, insulin, amiodarone, and lines / tubes / drains for post-surgical care Must be skilled in care and maintenance of central lines (including blood draws), trachs / laryngectomies, and complex wounds Telemetry experience required Benefits High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts American Traveler Job ID P-614884.
