Chaparral Fitness Front Desk Attendant
Support day-to-day activities of the Chaparral Fitness Center. Greet and assist students, faculty, staff and community members.
- Greet and assist students, faculty, staff and community members with general questions.
- Answer phones and take messages.
- Provide word processing, mail services, and general office assistance.
- Provide information regarding College programs, procedures and processes.
- Light cleaning and assistance in keeping facilities neat and orderly.
- Maintain a friendly, welcoming attitude.
- Processing financial transactions.
- Schedule personal training and group fitness clients.
Education: High school diploma or equivalent. Must be enrolled in at least 6 credit hours for Fall/Spring semester or 1 credit hour for Summer semester. Cumulative GPA of 2.0 or above. If a first semester student, GPA requirement is waived. If a Student qualifies for Federal Work Study, the Student will be hired as a Federal Work Study employee to utilize these funds.
Experience: 1-2 years customer service experience preferred. CPR/AED certified preferred.
Working Conditions: Front desk area of 11,000 square foot fitness facility. Potential is high for noisy and busy environment. Flexible hours: Mon-Fri; 5.30am-10pm and/or Sat/Sun; 6am-8pm. This student position requires the following test/tests: Background Check.
Pay Rate: Student Rate 1 - $15.00 per hour
