• Floating within scope may be required.
• Comfortable with flexible staffing ratios.

Description :

This position is for a Registered Nurse in a Medical-Surgical / Telemetry specialty.

The nurse will work in a high acuity unit.

The role requires management of central lines, nasogastric tube insertion, ostomy changes, and education.

Patient diagnoses include trauma, acute care surgery, reconstructive urology, vascular surgery, bariatric surgery, and more.

Candidates should have experience in accessing and managing ports, central line blood draws, colostomy care, and telemetry monitoring.

The daily census for the unit is 32 patients with a patient-nurse ratio of 1 : 7.

Staff support includes various interdisciplinary services.

Candidates may have to float to sister facilities as required by needs.

The ideal candidate should have prior experience working in environments with flexible staffing ratios.

Scrub color for the position is navy.

Candidates must be willing to work weekends and be adaptable to unit needs.
