Job Title: Senior Software Engineer
Location: Cincinnati (On-Site)

Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced software engineer to support backend development and integration work for a newly established team focused on payment platform connectivity and point-of-sale stabilization. Our team is looking for someone who can contribute to secure, scalable services while helping resolve complex integration issues across payment and POS environments.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain backend services using Java and Spring Boot.
• Support integration efforts between the point-of-sale platform and payment platform services.
• Develop and troubleshoot REST APIs, microservices, and API gateway integrations.
• Collaborate with technical teams to investigate issues, strengthen testing, and improve system stability.

Required:

• Hands-on point-of-sale development experience, including direct work with POS terminals or related test environments.
• Senior-level experience developing enterprise Java applications.
• Strong hands-on experience with Java, Spring, and Spring Boot.
• Experience developing RESTful APIs, backend microservices, and API gateway integrations.
• Experience working in PCI-scoped, payment, financial, or other security-sensitive environments.
• Ability to work effectively onsite with cross-functional technical teams.
