Resort Trolley DriverThe Resort Trolley Driver is responsible for all aspects of transportation of Resort Guests, to include safety, friendliness, cleanliness and line speed. This is to be done in a manner consistent with the Values and Mission of The Dollywood Company.Summary of Essential Functions and ResponsibilitiesGreets guests and initiate friendly interactionProvides Guest excellence, which exceeds expectationsEffectively uses empowerment to ensure Dollywood's 100% Satisfaction Guarantee policy is implementedReacts calmly and quickly in stressful/emergency situations. Physically assist Guests throughout the area as requiredEffectively performs in the role of Resort Trolley Driver to include (but not limited to): Transporting Guests via Trolley in a safe and efficient mannerVisually observes surroundings to identify potential safety hazardsCleans and organizes conveyance daily to present professional appearanceCommunicates calmly, clearly, and professionally with Guests and HostsAssists Guests with the loading/unloading of the Trolley, also alerting them of the height of steps and surrounding curbsAssists Guests with the loading/unloading of ECV's, wheelchairs, and strollersCompletes daily written reports and turn in any necessary paperwork to Parking PICOperates vehicles/work each position in all weather conditionsMaintains a sense of urgency toward area of operation to reduce Guest wait timeUses time productively to include sweeping, clearing cobwebs, straightening cones, and other similar itemsAssists with other areas in parking as needed/requested by ManagementWears and maintains a themed costume issued by DollywoodPerforms special projects as directed by ManagementAttends all required Training Classes and MeetingsComplies with safety and security directives, policies and procedures to ensure Hosts/Guests safety at all timesVerbally communicates and enforces Safety rulesVisually observes Guest actions during operation to prevent safety hazardsInitiates friendly interaction with guestsWorks varying hours and at different areas when neededMaintains confidentiality at all timesFollows all safety standards to include reporting any violation of standardsEducation and Experience RequiredMust be at least 21 years of ageMust be able to drive all motor vehicles used in operations - trolley, shuttle van, and truckMust have valid Tennessee Commercial Driver's License with a Passenger Endorsement and proof of auto liability insuranceMay be required to provide a copy of personal driving record from home stateMust have less than three (3) traffic violations on record in the last three (3) yearsMust not have a DUI conviction in the past 15 years on recordMust submit and pass a pre-employment DOT Certified Drug and Alcohol ScreeningAbility to safely operate company vehicles according to company policy. Employees may also be required to travel to various areas on property which may include changes in terrain, stairs and uneven surfacesRepetitive Movements: This position may require performing repetitive movements and tasks throughout the shift, including repeated use of hands, arms or other body parts as part of typical job functionsEnvironmental Conditions: This position requires the ability to perform work tasks in varying weather conditions to include extreme cold and heat.
