Registered Nurse (RN) – Richmond, Virginia

Personnel Pool of Virginia, Inc. is seeking experienced and compassionate Registered Nurses (RNs) for a newly awarded contract opportunity in the Richmond, Virginia area. This position provides nursing care to residents in a long-term care setting.




Pay Rate: Competitive and based on years of experience.




Available Shifts:

• 
  1st Shift: 7:00 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.
  
• 
  2nd Shift: 3:00 p.m. – 11:30 p.m.
  
• 
  3rd Shift: 11:00 p.m. – 7:30 a.m.
  

Responsibilities may include:

• 
  Provide professional nursing care in accordance with established standards, policies, and physician orders.
  
• 
  Assess and monitor residents and document changes in condition.
  
• 
  Administer medications and treatments as ordered.
  
• 
  Develop, implement, and update resident care plans.
  
• 
  Maintain accurate and timely nursing documentation.
  
• 
  Communicate changes in resident condition to physicians and appropriate members of the healthcare team.
  
• 
  Supervise and provide direction to LPNs and CNAs as appropriate.
  
• 
  Respond appropriately to emergencies and changes in resident condition.
  
• 
  Follow infection-control, safety, confidentiality, and resident-rights requirements.
  
• 
  Work collaboratively with nursing staff and other healthcare professionals to provide quality resident care.
  

Qualifications:

• 
  Current, active Registered Nurse (RN) license valid to practice in Virginia.
  
• 
  Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
  
• 
  Previous long-term care, skilled nursing, rehabilitation, veterans care, or similar experience preferred.
  
• 
  Current CPR/BLS certification as required for the assignment.
  
• 
  Ability to successfully complete required background screening, credentialing, and pre-employment requirements.
  
• 
  Strong communication, documentation, and resident-care skills.
