Job Title: Data / Information Architect - Consultant

Job Location: South Carolina (Fully Onsite - 5 Days per Week / Open to Nationwide Candidates in Eastern Time Zone)

Position Type: Contract (12 Months with High Possibility of Extension)

Job Overview: We are seeking an experienced Data / Information Architect to join a high-impact public sector project with the State of South Carolina. In this role, you will lead public-facing dashboard development, perform deep data analysis on real estate, fleet, and financial metrics, and support critical CRM systems. If you have a strong foundation in database design, Tableau, and data-driven strategy, we want to connect with you!

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform data analysis on real estate, fleet metrics, and financial data to support administrative management initiatives utilizing tools such as Excel, Tableau, Power BI, Python, R, or SAS.

  • Design and develop database environments using MS SQL Server Management, Azure Synapse, or similar cloud/on-prem platforms.

  • Build, deploy, and maintain public-facing Tableau dashboards and create detailed technical documentation.

  • Support and develop custom CRM systems (Salesforce, Zendesk, HubSpot).

  • Provide data-focused strategies that add organizational value, drive operational efficiency, and present insights to key stakeholders.

  • Participate actively in the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) across Agile, Scrum, and Waterfall methodologies.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Tableau Development & Deployment: Proven expertise in building enterprise-grade, public-facing dashboards.

  • Database Principles & Design: Strong working knowledge of database architecture, MS SQL Server, or Azure Synapse.

  • CRM Development & Support: Hands-on experience with platforms like Salesforce, Zendesk, or HubSpot.

  • Data Analysis & Modeling: Experience handling complex datasets, financial metrics, and telemetry data.

  • Education: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related discipline.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Strong Business Analyst skills with the ability to explain and document complex concepts to diverse technical and non-technical audiences.
