Dietary Aide Job Responsibilities:

- Meal Service: Assist in serving meals that are palatable appetizing and timely in accordance with the current menu following time and temperature standards.

- Setup: Set up meal trays food carts and dining room.

- Diet Compliance: Serve food according to current diet texture and liquid consistency orders; follow established portion control procedures.

- Quality Check: Assist in checking resident meals or trays before distribution.

- Delivery: Deliver food carts trays and other items to designated areas.

- Cleanup: Remove soiled carts and dishes from the dining area upon completion of meal service.

- Dishwashing: Wash dishes utensils pots and pans; return clean items to proper storage areas and ensure readiness for the next meal.

Requirements

High School Diploma or GED preferred or any combination of education training and experience that demonstrates the ability to perform the duties of the position

Food service experience preferred but on-the-job training is available
