Job description

Job TitleThis job post is for a role that involves remote flex work mode and is based in Charlotte, NC, USA, with additional locations in Iselin, NJ, USA. The duration of this position is from July 1, 2026, to December 31, 2027.ResponsibilitiesThe key responsibilities include:Assisting with mathematical, statistical, and economic methods to determine market conditions, project consumer needs, and inform business initiatives.Identifying trends from modeling and informing other lines of business such as product development and marketing decisions.Helping develop data mining models, statistical reporting, and data analysis methodologies to identify key customer segments and simulate the impact of potential future business decisions.Developing detailed reports and conclusions for business, finance, and investment management based on data summaries.Recognizing areas of opportunity and risk through data analysis and modeling and reporting findings.Providing information for additional research and analysis in line with statistical methodology.Assisting other areas of the business to model the potential outcomes of implementing various business strategies.RequirementsThe requirements for this role are:University degree preferred.Minimum 2 years of work experience required.Hands-on experience in Reference Data/Security Master/Investment Data Management roles within asset management, investment banking, or financial services firms.Strong working knowledge of Eagle (PACE, STAR, Data Management) and data management processes.Proficient with Bloomberg (BBG Terminal, BBG AIM, BBG PORT) and Charles River (CRD) applications for data sourcing and validation.Solid understanding of financial instruments, including Equities, Fixed Income, Derivatives, and Structured Products.Familiarity with data feeds (e.g., Bloomberg BPIPE, Client, Markit) and static data integration workflows.Excellent verbal and written communication skills for stakeholder interactions (mainly US-based teams).Willingness to work in US time zone (evening/night IST).Ability to analyze process/data exceptions and proven attention to detail.Experience using Microsoft Office suite of products (particularly Excel and VBA) and SQL.Preferred SkillsPreferred skills include:SQL or data query/reporting knowledge.Prior exposure to automation or process improvement initiatives (Alteryx, Python, VBA, etc.).Experience working with middle office or front office support environments.Understanding of trade lifecycle and reference data's role in it.Key AttributesKey attributes for this role are:Detail-oriented and quality-focused.Strong ownership and accountability mindset.Collaborative and able to work in a fast-paced, global environment.Adaptable to changing priorities and technology enhancements.Ability to work relatively independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.Prioritization and problem-solving skills.
