Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time Credential Administration in North Bergen NJ you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Auto and more. As an Access Control Officer at a premier automotive location you will help maintain a welcoming secure environment by verifying credentials managing visitor and employee access and monitoring entry points. You will provide professional customer service communicate clearly and help address security-related concerns while supporting a visible presence. Pay Rate: $19.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees visitors contractors and delivery personnel while carrying out site-specific access-control procedures policies and when appropriate emergency response activities.
• Monitor entry and exit points at an automotive facility; verify identification visitor credentials appointments and authorization before granting access.
• Maintain accurate visitor contractor vehicle and delivery records in accordance with site-specific requirements.
• Respond to access-control incidents alarms and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and document activities.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of designated access points parking areas and the business perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• A state county or city-issued security-related license is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
