Job Summary

Seeking a Mechanical Coordinator to support a large-scale GMP construction, commissioning, and qualification program. The role will manage mechanical and process system readiness from construction and Mechanical Completion through C&Q and final turnover to Operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Track mechanical/process systems through construction, commissioning, qualification, and turnover.
• Manage and review system turnover packages for completeness and GMP/GDP compliance.
• Coordinate Mechanical Completion walkdowns, inspections, punch lists, and closeout.
• Review ITRs, construction test packs, weld records, installation records, and vendor documentation.
• Coordinate turnover activities across Construction, Engineering, C&Q, contractors, and Operations.
• Maintain system readiness trackers and support reporting, including Power BI dashboards.
• Identify documentation gaps, schedule risks, and turnover issues.

Requirements

• 5+ years of hands-on system turnover, commissioning, C&Q, or construction experience within pharmaceutical, biotech, or life sciences environments.
• Strong experience with Mechanical Completion and system turnover.
• Experience reviewing GMP turnover packages and construction documentation.
• Working knowledge of GMP/GDP requirements.
• Experience with walkdowns, punch lists, system readiness, and final handover.
• Degree or diploma in Engineering or Construction Management.
• General construction coordination experience without regulated GMP turnover/C&Q experience will not be sufficient.
