Job Summary:
We are seeking a Senior Robotics Engineer to provide hands-on engineering support for the troubleshooting, maintenance, optimization, and continuous improvement of industrial robotic systems within a manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will have strong experience diagnosing and resolving robotic system issues, improving equipment performance, and supporting production operations across multiple robot platforms, including KUKA, FANUC, and ABB.
This role requires a hands-on engineering approach focused on root-cause analysis, robotic system optimization, programming adjustments, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to improve reliability, reduce downtime, and support changing production requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve complex issues involving industrial robotic systems and robotic production cells.
- Perform root-cause analysis to identify equipment, programming, and process-related issues.
- Modify, optimize, and maintain robot programs to support production requirements and process improvements.
- Provide hands-on support for KUKA, FANUC, and ABB robotic platforms.
- Perform robotic system diagnostics, adjustments, calibration, and optimization activities.
- Collaborate with maintenance, manufacturing, and engineering teams to improve robotic cell performance and minimize downtime.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives related to automation systems, productivity, and equipment reliability.
- Document troubleshooting procedures, programming changes, and system improvements.
- Develop training materials and provide hands-on technical training to junior engineers, technicians, and internal team members.
- Mentor team members on robotics programming, operation, maintenance practices, and troubleshooting techniques.
- Promote safe work practices while supporting automation and manufacturing operations.
Required Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Robotics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Automation Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent relevant experience.
- Senior-level experience supporting industrial robotic systems in a manufacturing or production environment.
- Hands-on experience with industrial robots such as KUKA, FANUC, and ABB.
- Strong knowledge of robotic programming, troubleshooting, and system optimization.
- Experience performing root-cause analysis and implementing corrective actions.
- Ability to interpret robotic programs, technical documentation, and equipment specifications.
- Experience supporting automated manufacturing systems and robotic cells.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate across engineering, maintenance, and production teams.
- Ability to mentor and train technical team members.
