General Manager – Private Golf & Country Club Southern Connecticut (New Haven, CT area) $145,000 - $175,000 + Bonus We are seeking an experienced General Manager to lead the day-to-day operations of an established private golf and country club in Southern Connecticut. This is a hands-on leadership role with responsibility for overall club operations, financial performance, member experience, staff leadership, membership growth and coordination across golf, dining, events and other club amenities. The General Manager will work closely with the Board of Directors, Golf Professional, Course Superintendent and department leaders to maintain a high level of service and deliver an exceptional member and guest experience. Responsibilities: Lead day-to-day club operations and overall service delivery Manage, develop and motivate club staff Oversee budgets, financial performance and cost controls Drive membership retention, recruitment and engagement initiatives Maintain high standards for member and guest service Partner closely with golf operations and course leadership Coordinate member golf events and outside outings Oversee dining, events, administrative functions and other club operations Provide regular operational and financial updates to the Board Identify opportunities to improve revenue, profitability and the overall member experience Qualifications: Bachelor's in hospitality or related preferred 5+ years of country club leadership experience Strong understanding of private club and golf operations Experience managing staff, budgets and day-to-day operations Strong member relations and customer service background Financial and operational management experience Excellent leadership, communication and problem-solving skills $145,000–$175,000 base salary, based on experience Performance-based bonus Medical, dental and vision coverage 401(k) with employer contribution/match Paid vacation, sick time, personal time and holidays This is an opportunity for an experienced private club leader to take ownership of a growing operation and work closely with club leadership to continue strengthening the member experience. #J-18808-Ljbffr
