Pay: $2,781 per week
Shift Information: Days - 4 days x 12 hours
Contract Duration: 13 Weeks

About the Position

Location: Overland Park, Kansas

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: 48 hours guaranteed option available; self-scheduling with every 3rd weekend requirement

Highlights:

  • 25-bed Intensive Care Unit with 1:2 nurse-to-patient ratio
  • Advanced critical care case mix including open heart recovery, CRRT, cardioversions, bronchoscopy, and Impella support
  • MediTech documentation system with Alaris pumps and GE monitors
  • Strong unit leadership including charge nurse support and unit secretary coverage 7am–11pm
  • Organization actively pursuing Pathway to Excellence designation; unit working toward Unit of Distinction recognition
  • Collaborative team environment with structured floating policy that prioritizes temporary staff

Requirements:

  • Active Kansas RN license or compact state license
  • BLS and ACLS certifications required
  • Critical care nursing experience required
  • Strong communication skills and adaptability to change
  • Neuro and trauma experience preferred
  • Adherence to AIDET patient experience standards
