No matter your background, education, or career path, if you share our vision to create extraordinary experiences, you belong at HITT.HITT Contracting is seeking an Assistant Project Manager with Mission Critical and Data Center construction experience to support our team in Wenatchee, Washington.The Assistant Project Manager supports the delivery of complex data center projects from preconstruction through final closeout. Working closely with project managers, superintendents, clients, design teams, and subcontractors, this individual helps ensure projects meet HITT's safety, quality, schedule, and budget expectations.The ideal candidate brings strong organizational skills, a collaborative approach, and experience coordinating the electrical, mechanical, and critical infrastructure systems that support data center operations.ResponsibilitiesSupport project planning, budgeting, scheduling, procurement, and executionManage RFIs, submittals, meeting minutes, and project documentationAssist with subcontractor scope reviews, buyout, contracts, and change ordersTrack project costs, commitments, pay applications, and budget updatesCoordinate with field teams and subcontractors to resolve issues and maintain project progressSupport coordination of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection systems, including power distribution, backup power, cooling, and controlsTrack long-lead equipment and material deliveries against installation milestonesAssist with commissioning readiness, inspections, punch lists, and turnover documentationMaintain clear communication with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and internal teamsUphold HITT's safety and quality standards throughout the projectQualificationsExperience as an Assistant Project Manager, Project Engineer, or in a similar commercial construction rolePrior experience supporting Mission Critical or Data Center construction projectsWorking knowledge of construction drawings, specifications, contracts, and project financialsFamiliarity with complex MEP systems and the coordination required for installation, testing, and commissioningStrong communication, organization, and problem-solving skillsAbility to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced project environmentProficiency with construction management software and Microsoft OfficeBachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field preferred; equivalent relevant experience consideredAbility to work on site in Wenatchee, WAIn accordance with the Washington Equal Pay and Opportunity Act, section RCW 49.58.110, the base salary range for this position is:$77,000.00 - $110,000.00Compensation in other cities and states may vary.
