Kelly Services is hiring a Dock Worker / Forklift Operator in Union, MO!
Looking for a steady opportunity where you can put your warehouse and forklift experience to work? We’re hiring for a temp-to-hire Dock Worker / Forklift Operator position with a consistent schedule and competitive pay.
Pay: $22.00/hour
Schedule: Tuesday–Saturday, 3:00 PM–11:00 PM
Location: Union, MO

What You’ll Do
As a Dock Worker / Forklift Operator, you’ll support daily warehouse and dock operations while helping ensure materials are moved safely, accurately, and efficiently.

Operate a forklift to load, unload, and move materials and products

Load and unload trucks and trailers

Move materials to designated warehouse or storage locations

Inspect forklift equipment before use and report any maintenance or safety concerns

Maintain accurate inventory and material movement records

Use basic computer systems to enter, update, and locate information

Identify and report inventory discrepancies

Keep the dock, warehouse, and work areas clean, organized, and free of safety hazards

Perform general cleaning and housekeeping duties as needed

Follow all forklift, warehouse, and company safety procedures

Assist with additional warehouse and dock duties as needed

Work independently while also contributing as part of the warehouse team
What We’re Looking For

Basic computer skills
-
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
-
Ability to communicate effectively and work as part of a team
-
High school diploma or GED, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience
-
Ability to successfully complete internal forklift certification training and demonstrate safe operating procedures
-
Dependable and able to work the full Tuesday–Saturday schedule
-
Comfortable working in warehouse conditions that may occasionally be dusty, hot, or cold
Physical Requirements

Ability to stand and be on your feet for extended periods
-
Regularly lift and move up to 50 lbs.
-
Occasionally lift up to 65 lbs. using team lifting and/or provided equipment when appropriate

Ability to bend, crouch, stoop, reach, push, pull, and climb steps or ladders as required

Ability to perform physical warehouse and dock duties throughout the shift
