Job Description

As a Security Officer Patrol Monitoring in Zeeland MI you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location you will monitor and patrol assigned areas maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents respond to security-related concerns and provide outstanding customer service. Using clear communication and a people-first approach you will support a welcoming environment while demonstrating Allied Universals values of agility reliability innovation teamwork and integrity.

Pay Rate: $18.58 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients visitors and employees by carrying out site-specific procedures access-control protocols and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout manufacturing and industrial areas including building interiors exterior grounds parking areas and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor entry and exit points verify visitor and contractor access according to site procedures and maintain accurate logs and documentation.
• Respond to incidents alarms and critical situations in a calm professional problem-solving manner escalating matters to appropriate site contacts and/or emergency responders.
• Observe and report hazardous conditions damaged property unusual activity and other security-related concerns in accordance with site policies.

Minimum Requirements:

• Experience with alarm panels is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortability using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
