Job Title: RN - Charge Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Labor and Delivery Duration: 13 or 26 Weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Hours Experience: Minimum 1 Year License: Must have RN license in hand Certifications: BLS, ACLS, AWHONN Intermediate and Advanced, NRPS Must-Have: Charge Nurse experience preferred or willing to train for charge role. Willing to work weekends and 2 out of 3 major holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year. Description: This position requires charge nurse experience. The role is primarily focused on labor and delivery nursing. The average daily deliveries are around 7, with potential for up to 14 patients due to inductions and high-risk antepartum scenarios. The unit has OB Triage, labor rooms, OR suites, and PACU rooms. You will assist in high-risk deliveries and provide care for multiple gestations. Additional responsibilities include administering medications and assisting in various procedures. Experience with Electronic Health Record system is required. There is potential to float to like units as needed. This is an opportunity to work in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.
