Electronic Engineer I

Electronics Engineer IMonaco Enterprises, Inc., a Spokane based manufacturer of fire, mass notification, and security alarm systems, is seeking a professional, result-oriented, enthusiastic candidate to participate in designing, developing, and documenting electronic products, systems and circuits.Overall Purpose of Job: Assist in design, develop, and document electronic products, systems and circuits. Provide technical analysis of existing and potential new components and circuitry. Provide technical expertise and support to in-house manufacturing personnel to assist, analyze, and troubleshoot manufacturing and testing processes. Support, maintain, and modify existing electronic products to ensure manufacturability of the product. Provide interdepartmental support for new and existing Monaco electronic products.Job Responsibilities:Analog and digital electronic circuit designSurface mount and multilayer PCB designTroubleshooting and analysis of electronic systems and circuitsCreate technical documentation and specificationsDevelop test plans and test fixtures for productionSustain existing products to enable continued production capabilitiesProvide technical assistance to customer support and sales groupsJob Requirements:B.S. in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or equivalent field of studyStrong skills in circuit design and analysis pertaining to analog, digital, and embedded designBasic understanding of board fabrication and designWorking knowledge of test equipmentFamiliarity with ECAD tools such as OrCAD, AltiumPhysical Demands:The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
