Experience in commercial and military Fan, Low Pressure Compressor, and High Pressure Compressor analysis is a plus. If you have relevant structures background or experience in these areas and possess the skills and motivation to bring new ideas into practice, we would like to hear from you.What You Will DoStructures support across all phases of the design cycle, concept initiation & optimization, preliminary through detailed structures, development, validation, certification, manufacturing, and operational service.Conduct, improve, and lead structures analysis on components and/or assemblies, to ensure that designs are cost efficient, manufacturable, and reliable.Identify and correct structural issues within work scope to ensure project completion.Help with new products and processes and improves and maintains existing products to help create better products or processes and ensure that the current and future needs of the business are met.Perform Finite Element Analysis with tools including Ansys and Teamcenter Simcenter.Complete multidisciplinary task and/or work closely with other Cold Section Engineering CIPT disciplines (Design, Heat Transfer, Structures, and Aero).Candidates must be willing to work in an on-site environment.Qualifications You Must HaveB.S. in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering with 5+ years of engineering experience orAdvanced degree with 3+ years of engineering experienceMechanical Structures engineering experience (1+ years)U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.Qualifications We PreferM.S. in Mechanical or Aerospace engineeringProficiency in Teamcenter/Simcenter, Ansys, and classical methods of analysisCandidate should have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Experience in static hardware structural assessments.Experience with multi-disciplines (Design, Heat Transfer, Structures, and Aero)What We OfferRelocation Eligibility
