The Director of Admissions is a key member of the Lighthouse Clinical Team who will integrate and coordinate a patient centric therapeutic strategy with a keen focus on clinical intake; ensuring that delivery of high-quality and cost-effective health care is consistent with the mission, vision, and values of Universal Health Services and in accordance with government regulation, licensing and accreditation requirements. The Director of Admissions supports the purpose and procecedure of the entire clinical admission process.
Job Duties/Responsibilities:
- Creates and maintains department procedures in the following areas: daily census records, inquiry calls and referrals phone log, and ensures that the level of treatment and clinical services is appropriate to all patient needs.
- Coordinates all admissions into the facility.
- Coordinates and communicates with all customers in a professional manner and provides excellence in customer service.
- Supervisorial responsibilities include all Admission Clinicians/ Coordinators.
- Collaborate with Clinical Team (Nursing, Utilization, Medical Staff, etc)

Qualifications
Education:
Bachelor of Science in Nursing; Master's Degree in clinical psychology, social work, counseling or related field of study.
Experience:
Minimum of three to five years in a clinical setting and/ or previous intake experience. Must have marketing and sales abilities to interact with referral sources and ability to complete clinical assessments.
Licensure:
Active Registered Nurse license or licensed APC, LAPC, LMSW, LCSW.
Additional Requirements:
Successful completion of BLS CPR certification. Successful completion of Handle with Care (HWC) training prior to assisting with a restraining procedure and within 7 days of employment.
