Injection Mold Machine OperatorStart your new career as an Injection Mold Machine Operator with MAU in Newnan, GA. As an Injection Mold Machine Operator, you will operate injection molding equipment, inspect product quality, package finished goods, and maintain accurate production documentation while meeting established safety, quality, and production standards.What We Offer:Pay of $19–$25 per hour, based on experienceTemp-to-hire opportunity after 520 hoursHealth benefitsDental insurance401(k)Referral programOpportunities for advancement12-hour shifts on a 2-2-3 rotating scheduleDay shift: 6:00 AM–6:00 PMNight shift: 6:00 PM–6:00 AMEvery other weekend offApproximately 182 scheduled workdays per yearWhat We're Looking For:High school education or equivalent required; basic technical training is advantageousMinimum of 1 year of manufacturing or production experiencePlastic injection molding experienceExperience performing quality inspections on a production lineExperience working shifts and following safety and hygiene regulationsStrong attention to detailDependable and punctualAbility to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environmentAbility to follow written work instructions and standard operating procedures (SOPs)Basic mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skillsBasic computer and data entry skillsAbility to safely operate manufacturing equipmentAbility to accurately complete production and quality documentationAbility to prioritize tasks and work effectively as part of a teamCustomer-focused approach with an understanding of how product quality impacts the customerAbility to lift 50+ pounds and stand for extended periodsAbility to operate pallet jacks or forklifts when properly certifiedWhat You'll Do as an Injection Mold Machine Operator:Operate injection molding and assigned production equipment according to established work instructions and standard operating proceduresMonitor machine performance and product quality throughout production runsPerform routine machine start-up, shutdown, and basic operational adjustments within established parametersLoad raw materials and packaging components into production equipment as requiredConduct product quality inspections and accurately document production and quality dataIdentify and remove nonconforming products and promptly report quality concernsMaintain required production rates while meeting safety, quality, and efficiency expectationsPackage, palletize, label, and wrap finished goods and move products to the correct warehouse locationRemove finished goods, scrap, and recyclable materials from production areasAssist with product changeovers and production line setup as directedClean machines, associated infrastructure, equipment, and work areas according to 5S standardsFollow all safety policies, quality standards, GMPs when applicable, and company proceduresReport equipment malfunctions, downtime, material shortages, and safety concerns to the appropriate production or maintenance teamSafely operate material handling equipment, including pallet jacks or forklifts, when certifiedCollaborate with production, warehouse, quality, and maintenance teams to achieve production goalsContribute to a positive, collaborative, and safety-focused work environment
