Technical Support Engineer – Cloud & Hosting (UK)

Technical Support EngineerWe are seeking a skilled Technical Support Engineer to support our UK customer base, with a strong focus on cloud-hosted environments and infrastructure. This role will play a critical part in troubleshooting complex application and hosting-related issues, particularly following system upgrades, database refreshes, and performance incidents.Key Responsibilities:Provide advanced technical support for cloud-hosted applications (Azure environment)Troubleshoot issues related to: Database refreshes and upgradesApplication errors in test and production environmentsBatch processing and performance degradationCollaborate with Hosting and Infrastructure teams to resolve escalationsAnalyze recurring issues and recommend long-term solutionsSupport customer environments including testing and production systemsDocument solutions and contribute to knowledge base articlesRequired Skills & Experience:Strong experience with Microsoft Azure (IaaS/PaaS)Solid understanding of SQL Server and database managementExperience supporting hosted/SaaS applicationsAbility to diagnose performance issues and system errorsFamiliarity with incident management tools (e.g., Zendesk or similar)Strong troubleshooting and analytical skillsPreferred Qualifications:Experience with enterprise asset management or fleet management systemsKnowledge of application integrations and data pipelinesExposure to ITIL practices or structured support environmentsKey Competencies:Strong communication skills (customer-facing)Ability to work independently in a remote environmentCollaboration across global teams (US/UK coordination)Why Join Us:Opportunity to shape and support a growing UK presenceWork on modern cloud-hosted platformsBe a key contributor in improving system reliability and customer experienceWorker Type:RegularNumber of Openings Available:1
