Join Our Team at SMPA!San Miguel Power Association (SMPA) is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Executive Assistant to join our team.In this role, you will provide administrative support to the General Manager/CEO and Board of Directors. You will coordinate schedules, meetings, travel, Board materials, records, and other administrative activities while maintaining confidentiality, accuracy, and professionalism.What You'll DoManage calendars, schedule meetings, and coordinate travel arrangements.Prepare and distribute Board agendas, packets, meeting materials, and minutes.Maintain corporate records, contracts, and electronic filing systems.Coordinate administrative details for meetings, events, trainings, and the Annual Meeting.Provide administrative support for internal communications, HR activities, donations, and elections.Serve as an administrative point of contact and route communications appropriately.Maintain records in accordance with established policies and procedures.Provide general administrative and secretarial support to the General Manager/CEO and Board of Directors.Perform other administrative duties as assigned.What We're Looking ForHigh school diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred.5 or more years of administrative or related experience; or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Adobe, and other business software.Experience with records management, filing systems, or meeting support.Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality.Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and work effectively with minimal supervision.Experience with meeting minutes, benefits administration, event planning, or an electric cooperative is preferred.This position is based out of our Ridgway, CO location and offers the opportunity to support an organization committed to providing quality electric service to the communities we serve.Come power your career with SMPA!About SMPAIt is the Mission of the San Miguel Power Association, Inc. to provide our members with safe, reliable, cost-effective, and environmentally responsible electrical service, while demonstrating both cooperative responsibility and support for the communities we serve.If you're organized, dependable, and enjoy keeping things running smoothly behind the scenes, apply today!This is an exempt position with the opportunity to telecommute, as approved and scheduled with your supervisor, following successful completion of the probationary period and in accordance with SMPA policy.
