Overview Of The Senior Accountant Role Own key responsibilities within the month-end close process, including complex journal entries and account reconciliations. Help ensure financials are reported within the reporting cycle. Prepare and analyze monthly financial information and operational reporting. Support quarterly SOX audits, including gathering and preparing documentation. Participate in inventory cycle counts. Research and resolve accounting issues and complete various ad hoc financial and accounting projects. Partner with the accounting and finance team to improve processes and support business needs. Preferred Qualifications For a Senior Accountant Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration 3-4 years of accounting experience, ideally with exposure to public accounting/audit or manufacturing. Good computer skills, including ERP experience and proficiency in Excel-pivot tables, vlookups, formulas Self-starter mentality with the ability to take ownership.
