Multiple Accounting Positions Nassau County, Long Island, NY

A growing and well-established company approaching $1 billion in annual revenue is seeking qualified accounting professionals for multiple full-time, fully on-site opportunities in Nassau County.

Open Positions

Sales Tax Accountant $75,000

• Manage sales and use tax reporting and compliance
• Research tax issues and assist with audits
• Maintain accurate tax records and documentation
• Work with accounting and other departments to resolve tax-related issues

Fixed Assets Accountant $85,000

• Manage the fixed asset accounting process
• Record acquisitions, disposals, transfers and depreciation
• Perform reconciliations and maintain accurate fixed asset records
• Assist with month-end and year-end close

Corporate Accountant $95,000$110,000

• Perform general ledger and corporate accounting functions
• Prepare account reconciliations and journal entries
• Assist with month-end and year-end close
• Analyze financial information and support reporting requirements

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting required
• Progressive accounting experience
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills
• Excellent analytical and organizational abilities
• Experience working in a large, complex accounting environment
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities

Candidates with backgrounds in public accounting, real estate development, construction, manufacturing, or other large/multi-entity organizations are particularly encouraged to apply.
