As a Quality Inspector, you will inspect fabric for defects and inconsistencies, accurately classify and document quality issues, and help ensure finished products meet established quality and production standards.What We Offer:Pay of $16.96 per hourRotating 12-hour shifts: 8:00 AM–8:00 PM / 8:00 PM–8:00 AMTemp-to-hire opportunityEligible for permanent hire after 520 hours, at the client's discretionWhat We're Looking For:Ability to read, write, and follow written and verbal instructionsStrong attention to detail with the ability to perform accurate, thorough, and consistent quality inspectionsBasic math skills, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and divisionAbility to identify fabric defects and determine appropriate classificationsAbility to adapt to changes in a production environmentAbility to sync EVS maps with the inspection frameStrong work ethic, reliability, and commitment to safety and qualityAbility to safely use tools and equipment associated with the position, including overhead hoists, sewing machines, fabric inspection frames, and the BARCO computer systemWhat You'll Do as a Quality Inspector:Inspect cloth and fabric for defects, imperfections, abnormalities, and inconsistencies according to established specificationsIdentify, classify, and mark fabric defects accuratelyGrade fabric and complete required quality documentationMeet production goals as directed by the department managerSeam non-standard fabric rolls together using a sewing machine to achieve required doff lengthsUse hoists and/or forklifts to move fabric rolls as neededComplete BARCO system tasks, including ending pieces and starting new onesPerform Daily Team Maintenance (DTM) activitiesRegularly audit safety items to help maintain a safe work environmentKeep the work area clean and organizedFollow all plant safety rules, safety absolutes, departmental policies, procedures, and job specificationsOperate assigned equipment safely and responsibly
