AssemblerNow hiring for an Assembler job in Duncan, SC. Pay rate is $17.50 per hour for the second shift from 5:30PM to 5:30AM. This opportunity lets you assemble quality products, support production goals, and help transform individual components into finished products ready for customers. This role is based on a Warehouse Assembly Worker career path and is offered by Staffmark to qualified candidates.Job duties include constructing automotive mirror components on a machine, assembling parts according to written and visual instructions, operating machinery for tasks like force fitting or fastening, and rotating between workstations as needed. Daily startup checks, maintaining cleanliness and organization through 5S practices, and completing necessary documentation such as production reports and quality checklists are also part of the role.Education requirements include a high school diploma or GED preferred, with previous manufacturing, assembly, or warehouse training being beneficial. Experience requirements include the ability to assemble products using hand tools, power tools, fixtures, or work instructions, and the ability to read assembly instructions, production documents, or basic blueprints. Strong attention to detail, commitment to producing quality work, dependable attendance, and commitment to workplace safety are also necessary. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and keep up with the assembly line cycle time to meet production needs is required. Work in a team environment and the ability to read, write, and speak English due to work instructions and work sheets at the beginning of every shift are essential.Preferred qualifications include previous warehouse, assembly, manufacturing, production, or fulfillment experience, experience working with hand tools, production equipment, or mechanical assemblies, and knowledge of Lean manufacturing, quality inspection, or continuous improvement practices. Individuals who demonstrate reliability, teamwork, adaptability, and strong attention to detail are well positioned for success as an Assembler.Physical capabilities include the ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and perform repetitive assembly tasks throughout the shift, ability to lift components, products, or materials weighing up to 50 pounds, and manual dexterity to safely operate hand tools and assembly equipment.
