Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Finish Carpenter to join our team working on high-quality new construction projects. The ideal candidate has 4+ years of finish carpentry experience, takes pride in their craftsmanship, and can consistently produce clean, precise work with minimal supervision.

This position will work on both residential and commercial new construction projects, installing and finishing a variety of interior architectural details.

Will drive to the job site

Responsibilities

• Install interior doors, trim, baseboard, casing, crown molding, and other finish carpentry

• Install cabinets, built-ins, and other custom woodwork

• Complete detailed punch-list and finish work

• Read and interpret plans, drawings, and specifications

• Measure, cut, fit, and install materials accurately

• Operate common carpentry tools and equipment safely

• Maintain a clean and organized work area

• Work efficiently while maintaining a high standard of craftsmanship

• Coordinate with other trades and project supervisors

• Identify and address fit, finish, and quality issues

• Follow all company safety procedures and job-site requirements

Qualifications

• 4+ years of professional finish carpentry experience

• Strong knowledge of residential and/or commercial construction

• Ability to read blueprints and construction drawings

• Proficient with hand and power tools

• Strong attention to detail and quality

• Ability to accurately measure, cut, and install materials

• Reliable transportation and dependable attendance

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Professional attitude and strong work ethic

• Ability to lift materials and perform physical job-site duties

• drivers license and a vehicle

Preferred Skills

• Experience with high-end residential finish work

• Experience with commercial interiors

• Cabinet and built-in installation experience

• Custom trim and millwork experience

• Ability to troubleshoot and solve job-site issues independently
