Job description

Clubhouse Manager

The Clubhouse Manager is the on-site representative of Rizzetta and is the first point of contact with the residents of the community. This person is responsible for the overall operations of the district's recreational facilities and/or amenities. The Clubhouse Manager is responsible for ensuring enforcement of all policies and procedures established by the Board of Supervisors and the management company. One of the primary functions of the Clubhouse Manager is to be a contact person for the residents and to assure that the response to problems or requests for service is handled as expeditiously as possible.

Essential Functions

  • Responsible for day-to-day operations; greet residents, prospective residents, and guests.
  • Monitor the use and condition of the Amenity Center and surrounding areas.
  • Perform light tidying as needed, such as:
    • Organizing and inventorying supplies
    • Clearing trash and debris from pool area, walkways, entryways, the interior clubhouse, and other community spaces.
    • Wipe up spills
  • Monitor behavior at the Amenity Center and enforce District rules or policies. Complete incident reports for damage or violations of District rules or policies.
  • Issue and track access cards.
  • Complete various administrative duties such as room rental reservations, program registrations and answering phones.
  • Report to and interact with district supervisors, staff, and residents during monthly meetings.
  • Implement District directives on a timely basis.
  • Advise the District of any necessary repairs, extraordinary cleaning, or replacement items that may be required due to "normal wear-and-tear," natural disasters, vandalism, etc.; assist in obtaining proposals for same as needed.
  • Promptly report any hazardous conditions.
  • Aid patrons when appropriate or necessary.
  • Respond to resident inquiries as appropriate.
  • Report complaints to the District Manager

Education

Required

Associate degree or equivalency with a minimum of two (2) years of related experience in the field.

Educational equivalency is three (3) years of related experience (total of five (5) years of related experience if no degree.

  • Possess a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
  • Possess personal vehicle insurance with a minimum of $100,000/$300,000 liability coverage.

Experience Required - Possess no less than 3 years of supervisory experience.

Job Skills

  • Knowledge/awareness and application of all rules and regulations of the amenities, including but not limited to operational hours, age restrictions and food/drink restrictions.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Suite programs (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.).
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to coordinate/manage multiple projects at the same time.
  • Ability to interact and communicate effectively with colleagues, vendors, and customers of all professional levels in a timely manner.
  • Demonstrate leadership in maintaining high standards of professional behavior for self and staff.
  • Demonstrate organization, attention to detail, problem solving, creative, and independent thinking.
  • Demonstrate a commitment to the organization's philosophy of high quality, professionalism, and organizational culture.

Supervisory Responsibilities

Directly supervises and manages amenity staff. Responsible for the performance management, hiring, and scheduling of the amenity employees within the designated Clubhouse.

Work Environment

This job operates in a professional office environment with occasional exposure to outside elements. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines. Ability to travel to work on call and weekends.
