A well-established manufacturing organization is seeking an experienced Controller to lead its accounting and finance function. This is a hands-on leadership opportunity for someone who enjoys working closely with operations and senior leadership while overseeing the accuracy, integrity, and timeliness of the company's financial reporting. The ideal candidate will bring strong technical accounting experience, leadership skills, and the ability to operate effectively in a manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities Lead the day-to-day accounting and finance functions, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and month-end close. Oversee the preparation of accurate and timely financial statements and management reporting. Manage the annual budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes. Develop and maintain strong internal controls and accounting policies. Partner with operations and leadership to analyze financial performance, costs, margins, and business trends. Oversee cash flow management, working capital, and treasury activities. Ensure compliance with US GAAP, tax requirements, and other applicable regulations. Coordinate with external auditors, tax advisors, banking partners, and other outside stakeholders. Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes, reporting, systems, and overall financial efficiency. Lead, mentor, and develop the accounting team. Provide financial analysis and insights to senior leadership to support strategic decision-making.

Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. 7+ years of progressive accounting and finance experience. Prior experience in a Controller or senior accounting leadership role preferred. Manufacturing, distribution, industrial, or other operationally complex industry experience strongly preferred. Strong understanding of GAAP, financial reporting, budgeting, and internal controls. Experience managing and developing an accounting team. Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills. ERP experience and strong proficiency with Excel. CPA or other relevant professional certification is a plus.
