CARS employs Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) with decades of experience working in the Federal marketplace.We are seeking a skilled and experienced Knowledge Management Analyst to join our team in Springfield, VA.ResponsibilitiesManage and coordinate all of the day-to-day knowledge management process activities.Creating Knowledge Management (KM) and/or Knowledge Articles (KA) for new and gap processes to identify when a standard approach is needed.Define knowledge categories.Review submitted knowledge articles to ensure the content is valid and that the quality standards are respected.Obtain the appropriate subject matter expert (SME) validation when needed.Identify any new content and/or solutions required to support the end users' needs.Encourage people to contribute knowledge articles.Create and maintain knowledge templates.Pin important knowledge articles to appear at the top of search results.Gather and report on process metricsOther duties as assignedQualificationsBachelor's Degree and 2+ years of relevant experience and/orHigh School and 6+ years of relevant experienceExperience posting, editing, distributing, and maintaining appropriate content for classified and unclassified websites/portals.Experience facilitating the transfer of knowledge sharing, to ensure a baseline understanding of information across the organization between customer, partners, and stakeholders.Experience creating knowledge articles to facilitate seamless exchange of information across systems.Ability to evaluate the knowledge sharing program, including using benchmarks to measure the effectives of the program.Experience developing and maintaining an accurate, consistent, repeatable process for collecting, consolidating, and creating knowledge articles.Experience organizing data, establishing file structures, and ensuring information is captured and stored in locations accessible to various user groups.Experience compiling reports on performance and usage metrics and future requirements for existing knowledge management.Active TS/SCI clearanceSuccessfully pass background and drug screeningPreferred Qualifications:Master's DegreeKnowledge, Skills and Abilities:Ability to obtain CI polyAbility to work independently and yet be effective within a team settingMust be capable of managing multiple efforts with time-related constraints in a fast-paced contracting environmentDemonstrated ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with diverse internal and external stakeholder groups and individualsFriendly presence, helpful attitude, good interpersonal skills, and ability to work well with others.Excellent skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, and other Office applicationsProficient with Microsoft Office Applications, and experience working in a home office setting as well as the ability to train end users on frequently asked technical issues.Ability to provide technical assistance and support over the phone; good phone skills, professional demeanor, and previous customer service experience strongly desired.Good problem-solving skills; ability to visualize a problem/situation and think abstractly to solve itHow you'll growAt Chenega MIOS, our professional development plan focuses on helping our team members at every level of their careers to identify and use their strengths to do their best work every day.
