Commercial Construction Superintendent
An established and highly respected commercial general contractor is seeking an experienced Commercial Construction Superintendent to join its team.
This opportunity is ideal for a hands-on field leader who knows how to manage subcontractors, maintain schedules, solve problems and deliver a safe, quality jobsite.
Responsibilities:
Lead daily field operations on commercial construction projects
Manage subcontractors, vendors and field personnel
Maintain project schedules and coordinate sequencing
Conduct daily coordination and progress meetings
Ensure work is performed safely and according to plans and specifications
Monitor workmanship and maintain quality standards
Coordinate inspections and resolve field issues
Work closely with the Project Manager on schedule and budget objectives
Review drawings, specifications, RFIs and submittals
Identify and resolve schedule, quality and coordination issues
Maintain daily reports and jobsite documentation
Manage punch list and project closeout activities
Qualifications:
5+ years of commercial construction Superintendent experience
Proven ability to manage projects from mobilization through completion
Strong knowledge of construction means, methods, sequencing and scheduling
Ability to read and interpret plans and specifications
Strong subcontractor management skills
Excellent communication and organizational abilities
Strong understanding of safety and quality control
Procore or similar construction software experience is a plus
OSHA training/certification is a plus
