Project Coordinator
The Project Coordinator plays a key supporting role in the planning, coordination, and delivery of IT projects, including software development initiatives, ERP and systems implementations, and general IT projects. Working under the direction of the Director of Systems Applications, this role supports IT application team throughout the project lifecycle by maintaining schedules and trackers, coordinating meetings and communications, and keeping project documentation organized and up to date. This role requires someone detail-oriented with strong problem-solving and analytical skills, and able to balance multiple priorities while helping projects stay on schedule and aligned with user and business needs. Good communication skills are essential, and they should be able to work both independently and across teams. Strong organizational skills are required.
Minimum Qualifications:
- 1+ years of experience in project coordination, project support, or related IT or administrative roles.
- Familiarity with project management methodologies (Agile, Scrum, Waterfall).
- CAPM certification, or interest in pursuing project management certifications.
- Familiarity with project management tools (e.g., Jira, MS Project, Smartsheet).
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
- Basic understanding of the software development lifecycle.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and familiarity with project tracking tools.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, computer science / information systems, or related field.
- Experience with ERP systems integration related to project management.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent project management credential.
- Experience working with change order processes and contract management in manufacturing projects.
- Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and data analysis to support project tracking and reporting.
- Fluency in Korean and English, both written and verbal.
Responsibilities:
- Support the planning, coordination, and execution of IT projects, including software development, ERP/systems implementations, and general IT initiatives. Maintain project schedules and trackers, monitor milestones and deliverables, and flag risks or roadblocks to project leads to help keep projects on schedule.
- Coordinate communications among IT teams, including developers and vendors. Schedule and facilitate project meetings, document decisions and action items, and follow up on task completion to keep projects aligned with user needs and business requirements.
- Serve as a communication bridge internally and externally, including HQ and third-party vendors. Communicate and clarify project documentation, requirements, and status updates as needed to ensure clear alignment across teams.
- Maintain project documentation, including project plans, status reports, meeting minutes, and post-implementation reviews and lessons learned for completed projects. Assist with resource, budget, purchase request, or vendor tracking as assigned.
