Sr. Rewind OperatorPosition Overview: The Sr. Rewind Operator will be primarily responsible for set-up, run, cleaning, and general maintenance of rewind equipment in a 4 x 10 schedule working On-site, 1st shift - 5am - 2:30pm Mon - Thur and 5am - 9am Fri. This position is also able to operate table top rewind, desktop rewind and Label Applicator equipment (set-up, clean, and general maintenance) and, when needed assist with Package Assembler duties.Responsibilities:Verify through work orders that job processes, spec sheets, samples, proofs and drawings are correct before production runMaintain quality standards by checking registration, for debris and overall qualityUse digital instruments and measuring devices to collect and record continuous accurate SPC dataTroubleshoot and solve machine related problems such as tension, pressure, settings and web-breaksDetail-oriented, deadline driven, self-directed and organized individualServe as a mentor for less experienced Rewind OperatorsSupport new product development effortsEnsure a clean, healthy, and safe work environmentPerform basic math functions as related to rewind operationsPerforms other duties and may participate in special projects as assignedQuality Commitment: All Datacard employees must demonstrate an ongoing and unwavering commitment to quality through the following types of actions:Support and maintain ISO 9001 certification through daily work activitiesContinuously pursue corrective and preventative measures on all products and servicesHalt processes that could adversely affect product or service qualityAll employees are obligated to be aware of Entrust's Quality Objectives and Quality PolicyBasic Qualifications:High School Diploma or GED4+ years' experience working on rewind equipment in a flexographic or digital print environmentExperience working with various substrates including paper, film and polyExperience using digital instruments and measuring devices to include rulers, comparators, calipers and gauges to collect and record dataMechanical aptitude with hands-on skillsBasic math and computer skillsAbility to stand continually with frequent bending and lifting up to 50 lbs.Must be able to communicate in basic English; read, write and understandMust be able to lawfully work within the US and have unrestricted work authorization for USPreferred Qualifications:Experience running AB Graphics Omega Rewinders working with films and polyAnalytical and problem-solving skills, including troubleshooting of mechanical and electrical issuesCompensation Range:The anticipated starting base pay for this position is: $19.54-$28.66 per hour (in the primary posting location). Actual compensation will be determined based on geographic location, education, skills and experience. This position is also eligible for the company's discretionary annual incentive plan.
