MachinistThe position offers a built-in opportunity for overtime with a standard 50-hour work week. Initial training will be conducted on the 1st shift with a flexible schedule.Responsibilities:Maintain specifications by observing tooling, taking measurements, detecting malfunctions, troubleshooting processes, adjusting controls, and replacing worn tools.Read and interpret customer blueprints and company operation sheets.Utilize Machine Control effectively.Set tools and enter offsets into Machine Control.Follow setup instructions, including setting up fixtures, vices, and rotaries.Troubleshoot and work directly with Programming and Inspection to adjust CNC programs as required.Use inspection tools such as micrometers, calipers, and indicators as needed.Operate within AS9100/ISO9001 requirements, ensuring proper documentation, revision control, traceability, and lot control.Essential Skills:3+ years of experience setting up and running milling machines.Ability to read and interpret blueprints.Proficiency in setting up fixtures, changing over tooling, and entering offsets.Additional Skills & Qualifications:Experience with deburring, polishing, and metal finishing.Familiarity with hand and power tools.Why Work Here?Enjoy generous benefits including three standard medical plans, HSA, FSA, life insurance, and a 401k match up to 6%. The schedule includes two shifts: 1st shift, Monday to Friday, 7:00 am to 3:30 pm, and 2nd shift, Monday to Friday, 3:00 pm to 11:30 pm.Job Type & Location:This is a Permanent position based out of Westfield, MA.Pay and Benefits:The pay range for this position is $54080.00 - $72800.00/yr.
