Recruiter - Urgently hiring in South Portland! Job Title: Recruiter Pay: $36 per hour Hours: Weekdays, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM Start Date: ASAP Looking for a rewarding career in healthcare recruitment? You'll play a vital role in sourcing and placing top-notch professionals across clinical and administrative functions, ensuring we meet the organization's staffing needs with integrity and professionalism. Collaborating closely with hiring managers and the HR team, you'll contribute to building a high-performing, patient-centered workplace that makes a difference every day. What You'll Do As a Recruiter, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of the recruitment process, including maintaining the applicant tracking system, screening candidates via phone, and coordinating interviews and onboarding activities. Developing innovative sourcing strategies through advertising, internet searches, employee referrals, community networking, and job fairs to attract diverse and qualified talent. Organizing candidate interview itineraries, including travel arrangements, site visits, and scheduling meetings with key stakeholders. Building strong relationships with educational institutions and community partners to identify emerging talent and promote the organization's opportunities. Extending and negotiating job offers, providing timely feedback to candidates who are not selected, and partnering with managers to effectively communicate role expectations. Managing the Medical Assistant Apprenticeship Program, working with colleges, state representatives, and preceptors to ensure compliance and successful placements. Maintaining confidentiality in line with HIPAA guidelines and organizational policies, and continuously seeking new channels to enhance recruiting efforts. Building rapport with hiring managers, providing ongoing feedback, and adjusting recruiting plans to meet staffing goals.

What You'll Bring The ideal candidate for this role will have a bachelor's degree in human resources, business administration, or a related field (or equivalent experience). At least 2 years of full-cycle recruitment experience, preferably within healthcare. Excellent organization, time management, and communication skills. Proficiency with HRIS systems, MS Office Suite, SharePoint, and other digital tools. A results-oriented mindset with a focus on delivering exceptional service to both candidates and hiring managers. Self-motivation and the ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities. Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build lasting professional relationships.
