Position Overview
We are seeking dedicated Production Team Members to join our growing bakery operations. This role encompasses various responsibilities across our production, packaging, and sanitation departments, allowing for cross-training and career development opportunities within our facility.
Key Responsibilities
As a Production Team Member, you will contribute to our bakery operations through various essential functions :
Production Operations :
- Operate industrial ovens, organizing racks to ensure bread is baked to perfection while maintaining a tidy oven area
- Clean proofing boards and sweep oven areas to prevent flour buildup
- Properly arrange shaped dough on boards and trays according to production specifications
- Organize carts, boards, and trays to meet production timelines
- Assist in dough processing as required to maintain schedule adherence
- Reset proofing boards and assist with loading / unloading bread as directed
- Clean work areas between different dough types to maintain production environment standards
Packaging & Quality Control :
Pack bread and baked goods in specific configurations according to company standardsApply accurate labeling and pack items into bags or boxesEnsure product count accuracy in each packageVerify all packed products meet established quality standards for finished goodsSanitation & Facility Maintenance :
Clean and sanitize all areas and equipment throughout the facilityMaintain compliance with company hygiene policies, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), and safety requirementsContribute to daily cleaning and maintenance of production areasRequirements : Requirements
Essential Qualifications :
Minimum 6 months of work experience in an industrial manufacturing settingAbility to understand and strictly adhere to all safety protocols and standardsPhysical Requirements :
The successful candidate must be able to perform the following tasks for extended periods :
Stand for prolonged periods throughout shiftsLift, manipulate, or transport objects up to 50 lbs independentlyFrequently lift / pull / push more than 50lbs with mechanical assistance or team supportHandle heavy industrial equipment including pans, tubs, bins, mixing bowls, and other bakery equipmentWork in challenging environments with airborne flour dust, extreme heat, and continuous loud noiseMaintain composure and focus in fast-paced, high-energy settings near hot areas, steam exhaust ports, high-traffic zones, and fast-moving powered industrial trucksWork safely from ladders and lifts in areas that may become wet and slipperyLean over work surfaces while bending at the waist for extended periodsWork near, around, over, and under fixed equipment and machinery, including conveyor belts and moving partsSimultaneously operate multiple controls and machinery systemsPerform detailed tasks requiring manual dexterity while using sharp tools safelyWhat We Offer
