Environmental Health & Safety Manager
The EHS Manager will lead environmental and safety programs across multiple manufacturing locations. This position ensures compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations while promoting a strong safety culture that protects our people, our facilities, and the environment.
Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain compliance with EPA, OSHA, state, and local regulations (Air, Water, Waste, Stormwater, SPCC, TRI, etc.).
- Partner with external environmental consultants to prepare and submit required permits and regulatory reports.
- Oversee hazardous and non-hazardous waste management, recycling, and disposal programs.
- Lead critical safety programs such as Lockout / Tagout, Crane / Hoist, Contractor Safety, DOT, and Hearing Conservation.
- Support incident investigations, root cause analysis, and corrective actions.
- Conduct environmental inspections, sampling, and internal audits.
- Develop and deliver training programs to ensure compliance and engagement.
- Promote a proactive, positive safety culture at all levels of the organization.
- Serve as the primary contact for regulatory agencies, auditors, and inspectors.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Safety, Industrial Hygiene, or related field (or equivalent experience).3-5+ years of EHS experience in a manufacturing environment.
